The Family Fun Day was great at both Cord Charlotte and Oil Trough sites. We had an estimated total of 100 parents and or grandparents to attend. We gave the handouts you provided on reading to your child and I briefly discussed the importance of reading to a child.The families were very interested in having the information. Thank you for all your support and knowledge!

Curricula Concepts facilitated a Caring Conversations Café for a group of staff at one program. One teacher realized after hearing all the stories and experiences shared by her coworkers, “That everyone has a story and to keep that in mind and show kindness and respect to everyone.”
After experiencing a Caring Conversations Café for herself, one early educator said, “What stuck with me was that we, as educators, and parents really need this information and these types of trainings.”
As an early childhood educator, “I just love the idea of parents sharing experiences with each other” like they do in a Caring Conversations Café.”
I cannot say enough about the positive effects of the [Caring Conversations] Café format for participants.
After a Caring Conversations Café on understanding challenging behavior in young children, one parent realized, “All parents experience mostly the same type of child behaviors, good and not so good. We are not alone!”
One parent shared how “I love hearing other’s perspectives” during the Café conversations.
One thing I realized during the Caring Conversations Café is “I’m not alone in my experiences as a parent.”
The training event was very good, very informative and a great preview of the additional Caring Conversation Cafes we will be holding for our parents. Thank you again for an awesome training event.
